Steamed Chocolate Pudding by Dan Serves 8 Total 2 hours 15 minutes Difficulty Not too Tricky Chef Jamie Oliver Method Grease a 2-pint pudding basin. To make the chocolate sauce, melt the chocolate and icing sugar together in a pan, take off the heat and stir in the butter and milk. Add a quarter of the mix into the bottom of the greased pudding basin (saving the rest to reheat and drizzle over when serving). In a large bowl mix together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, sugar and suet, then add the egg and milk and mix well. Transfer to the pudding basin. Add tin foil to the top of the basin and make sure it is tight. Stand the basin in a pan with water halfway up the sides and cover with a tight fitting lid. Bring to the boil and then simmer for about 2 hours (topping up with boiling water if needed).
