For the Snack

30 g Unsalted Butter (Melted)

200 g Sourdough Starter Discard

For the Topping

2 Pinches Pepper

2 Pinches Sea Salt

Sourdough Crackers

Oven Temp 175 °C - 30 minutes

Method

  1. Gently melt the butter. Once cooled mix together with the sourdough starter until combined.

  2. Spread thinly (almost see through) on a baking tray lined with baking paper. 

  3. Sprinkle on top your salt and pepper topping.

  4. Bake for 10 minutes and then take out the oven and score into even sized pieces.

  5. Return to the oven and bake for another 20 minutes or until the crackers are golden and hardened.

  6. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely.
