Ingredients

250 g Caster Sugar

220 g Dark Chocolate (Roughly Chopped)

5 Eggs

1 Pinch Sea Salt

200 g Unsalted Butter (Cubed)

½ tsp Baking Powder

175 g Plain Flour

Method

  1. Melt the butter and chocolate in a pan on a low heat and then allow to cool slightly.

  2. In a large bowl beat together the eggs and sugar and then fold in the chocolate mixture.

  3. Add the flour, baking powder and salt and gently fold until thoroughly combined.

  4. Scrape the batter into a lined baking tin and bake for 30-35 minutes and then allow to cool for at least 2 hours.
