Dream Chocolate Chip Cookies by Dan Serves 20 Total 25 minutes Oven Temp 175 °C - 8 minutes Difficulty Not too Tricky Chef Rose Levy Beranbaum Biscuits Method Put the walnuts on a baking tray and cook for 5 minutes and then leave to cool before roughly chopping. Put the butter in a small pan and then on a medium high heat brown the butter, let it cool for a few minutes. In a large bowl mix together the sugars, golden syrup and butter until combined. Add the flour, salt and bicarbonate of soda until just combined. Then add the egg and vanilla extract and together. Add the chopped chocolate and combine. Wrap in clingfilm and chill in the ref refrigerator for at least a couple of hours. When ready to bake, roll into balls and place on a lined baking tray and bake for 8-10 minutes and then cool on a wire rack.
