Add the sugars and vanilla extract and whisk together until combined. Add the eggs and combine one at a time. Add the flour, salt, baking powder and ground almonds. Add the white chocolate and cherries and mix until combined. Add to a lined tin, scatter the flaked almonds on top and then bake for 35 mins.
