Classic Apple Crumble by Dan Serves 6 Total 45 minutes Oven Temp 180 °C - 30 minutes Difficulty Super Easy Chef Jamie Oliver Method To make the crumble topping, using your finger tips rub the butter and flour together in a large bowl until it resemble breadcrumbs. Add the other ingredients and mix together. Peel and core the apples, roughly chop and add to a pan along with the sugar and lemon zest and a good splash of water. Cook on a medium high heat for 10 minutes with the lid on. Add the apple filling to an oven proof dish and sprinkle the crumble topping on top (the rest can be frozen for a later date), add a splash of water on top (optional) and then bake for 30 minutes.
